It is our ultimate goal to empower students in their writing through free writing assistance. We are lucky to continue this work, as most high schools do not have a dedicated writing center. While school exists in an online setting during the COVID-19 Crisis, we aim to help students of all levels on a drop-in basis through open Zoom meetings where we will use breakout rooms to work one-on-one with students. We provide provide help for students during any part of their writing process. We are not merely editors; we are here to help students get started, rethink, clarify, and structure their ideas-- and we believe that meeting with students live one-on-one is the best way to accomplish this. Our hours may shift  throughout the distance learning time, so please check back regularly for updates.

Please contact us at mawriting@seq.org with any questions or concerns. (Note: Please do NOT send us documents to review unless one of our writing associates has asked you to do so.)

If you're an educator interested in collaborating with our team, please email us at mawriting@seq.org

We are no longer having students schedule appointments, and instead will be hosting open Zoom meetings Monday - Thursday from 3:15 - 4:30 where students may "drop-in" for help. You must be an M-A student to use our services, and you must use your seq.org email address to login to Zoom and "drop in" to the open Zoom meeting. You will be helped in the order you arrive in the main room. You will need reliable WiFi and your assignment to get help.
